Glasfågeln Retreat is a collaborative music residency created by piano and coffee and Studio Glasfågeln.
Hosted in Törresröd, just outside Lilla Edet in Sweden, the retreat unfolds in a secluded house surrounded by deep forests and quiet nature, with comfortable sleeping areas, a shared kitchen, and all essential facilities. Run by recording engineer and musician Gustav Davidsson, the studio offers a calm, focused environment designed to support thoughtful work.
Each edition brings together a small group of musicians from different backgrounds and nationalities to improvise, compose, and record new music, ranging from a handful of pieces to full-length albums. More than a workspace, the residency offers a rare moment of pause: an opportunity to step away from the noise of everyday life and fully immerse in the act of creating alongside others.
